Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired? Are you tired of waking up in the morning and saying “Oh not AGAIN!” Then it’s time to make a decision that you’re not going to settle for the status quo any more. Make a decision that you’re going to make your life to be what you want it to be.

Make a Decisionstairs-1458533_1920

Make a decision right here, right now that you’re going to do what you’ve always wanted to do and make a lot of money at it. When you make decisions there’s a calmness that comes to your mind. You’re not wasting time trying this or that and getting crappy results. You’re focused. You have a direction. You can direct your energy to doing what you want. Not doing what someone else is either telling you to do or asking you to do. Let’s face it. If it’s not something you want to do is there any real excitement or growth in doing it? Nope. Not really.

Decision is the key to creating calmness. Indecision just causes confusion and wasteful expenditure of your energy. Indecision is the way most of us live because we cannot immediately see what we think we need to move forward. We’ve been conditioned to reach for instant gratification. That’s why we buy things instead of creating moments. If we cannot see or achieve the end result instantly the desire disappears, the energy gets channelled in all sorts of directions and time passes by without any gain or just incremental gain.

Successful people make decisions quickly and definitely and change them very slowly if at all. Unsuccessful people live in indecision. Which one are you?

Create a Goal

You’re saying “But, I don’t know what to do that would take making a decision like that.” The heck you don’t. You just never really studied yourself. You’ve been told that you can only do or be so much. The report card dictated where to focus your efforts in order to get a job. You weren’t allowed to think about what you WANTED to do because that would mean that you’d really have to look at yourself. You’d have to think. I know because I never looked inward for nearly half my life. You can indeed find out what you want and have it too. You just have to give yourself permission to do it and ignore those small voices in your head that say “NO YOU CAN’T”.

You can find out exactly what it is you want by sitting down and writing out everything you want. Create a shopping list of wants. Writing things down is planning on paper. You cannot forget things if you write it down. Thoughts are energy and if you keep your thoughts in your head they will disappear, never to be seen again. Write everything down.

Pretty simple right? The things you really want are the ones that the voice in our head says “You can’t have that because…..” Guess what? Those are the wants you HAVE to write down because from those wants you will find the one that will set your heart on fire with desire to achieve it. Desire is the fuel that keeps your momentum going. If you’re want does not light you up then there’s no sense in wasting energy going after it.

Your goal needs to be something you’ve never done before and have no idea of how to get. If your goal isn’t thrilling you and scaring you at the same time it’s the wrong goal. Dream a fantastic fantasy that involves all of your wants. Place a date for its achievement next to it and you have a goal.

Create a Plan

You cannot achieve anything without a plan. It could be the world’s worst plan but as long as you stick to it you will find that you will achieve what it is you want. Failure on your plan is to be expected but that’s ok because through failure you grow. That’s what humans are supposed to do. Grow. Becoming aware of how to do something or about some sort of knowledge creates that growth. Humans exist to have greater awareness. For every failure there is a seed of an equivalent success planted in the fertile soil of your mind. Edison failed at making the incandescent light bulb 10,000 times before he nailed it. Now look at the lights we have today.

Failure is a temporary setback. You never really fail unless you quit. You should expect to fail and if you examine what went wrong, what went right and decide on what you’ll try in order to succeed then next time you will succeed.

Take Action

Now that you have a plan it’s time to take action. This is the biggest and toughest part of reaching success. Taking action. The hardest part is stepping out of your comfort zone and doing things that other people don’t want to do. Our paradigm is the culprit here. Our fear of criticism and our fear of rejection are things that are controlled by our paradigm. If you’ve never done something before and you cannot see what you think you need to move forward directly in front of you, you’re paradigm will take over, doubt and worry will creep into your mind and if you feel really uncomfortable you’ll likely fall back into old habits and start walking the line of mediocrity in the status quo once again.

Massive action is what is required to overcome fear. If you understand that fear is an illusion then taking action is something that becomes easier and easier with every successful step toward your goal. That’s how soldiers overcome fear. Taking action repetitively creates the impression in your mind that you are unstoppable. When you are on that level of vibration your actions will automatically create the results you want.

Have Faith

The opposite of fear is faith. I don’t mean blind faith I mean real faith. Faith in knowing that the knowledge you need, the resources you need and the people you need will arrive as you need them. You also need to have faith in yourself. Remember you are capable of doing anything you set your mind to. We were trained to believe, and you hear this saying all the time, that seeing is believing. I have news for you. It’s been backwards for centuries. It’s really BELIEVING IS SEEING! Starting off in an endeavour is always slow at first because the learning process must happen. When you learn something you achieve greater awareness and that’s what we are living for. Growth and the expansion of our spirit. We were meant to do what we love to do and fun doing it. We need to overcome our virus programming and believe in ourselves.

We were taught to believe that if we get a new, bigger house we’ll be happy. Or when we get that next raise, we’ll be happy. Or if we achieve the success we desire, we’ll be happy. This is the programming that has been handed down from generation to generation for as long as time has been around. We are trained to believe that success equals happiness. Here’s another blow to your ego. That’s all WRONG. In order to achieve success we need to be happy first. Happiness comes from within. Happiness = success!
